In this social studies lesson plan, Calling All Continents children learn about the continents and the bodies of water that surround them. After singing the adorable continent song to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," kids will work on labeling the continents correctly on a world map. Once they complete their maps, they're challenged with a tricky crossword puzzle where they identify the seven continents by their shapes. Once they finish learning about these land masses, they'll have a better understanding of the earth and its geography!
