Learning how to count doesn't have to be a chore. Your preschooler won't even realize he's learning as he counts up the balls and bats hidden on the page.
This resource will help assess your students' mastery of concepts surrounding measurement and time. This worksheet will challenge your third graders with problems on area, perimeter, measurement, and elapsed time problems.
Ready for your fifth graders to take their learning of cubic units to the next level? With this worksheet, students will count the stacked centimeter blocks to determine the volume of the solid object.
Shapes, lines, and angles are all around us, and with our geometry worksheets and printables, students of all ages can discover how they work. Little learners will love practicing basic shape and pattern recognition through matching, tracing, and coloring activities. Older students will enjoy measuring angles, calculating volume, finding the area and perimeter, and much more with these geometry worksheets.
Geometry by Ages and Grades
Geometry worksheets are great learning tools for kids in preschool through high school! Students at different ages learn geometry in different ways. Here are some of the different ways that kids learn geometry by grade:
Young children and students in early elementary school grades learn about shapes by sight and name only. Kids up to first grade will be able to name the shape, but not explain what makes it a circle. Kids at this level will benefit from basic geometry worksheets that ask them to identify a pictured shape.
Students in second grade through the end of elementary school are able to talk about what characteristics make a geometric shape. They'll be able to tell you that a square has four equal sides and angles. Children in these grades will learn best with geometry worksheets in which kids rotate shapes, identify more complex polygons such as hexagons, and use tangrams.
Middle schoolers are able to see the relationship between shapes using angle measurements and more. Print out geometry worksheets with measurement and graphing exercises for kids in sixth through eighth grade.
High schoolers will begin working on creating geometric proofs to define different shapes, figures, and angles. Try geometry proofs worksheets with your high schooler.
